Irene Brooks and her daughter Janice Romaniuk are continuing to work at the Dew Drop Inn once a month. They make cupcakes and jello with fruit cocktail for 100 people. Two prayer chains have recently been formed here at St. John’s. If there are emergency situations which require concentrated prayer, or if parishioners have requests for prayer for particular concerns, the prayer chain will pray for these people. How does it work? If there is a particular need in your life please advise the Rector who would call the leaders of the prayer chains. They would then advise the next person on the chain and so on. There are currently five or six people in each prayer chain. The information given to them is held in confidence and assures continual prayer on behalf of the person in need. If you would like to be part of a prayer chain please speak to the Rector.

PLEASE NOTE: It is very important to complete St. John's Booking Request Form (available at the back of the church) for events to be held in the church, Langworthy Hall, kitchen or parish house. All dates requested should be checked with the Church Office (345-6898) to prevent double bookings. - Your Wardens

Reminder: - If you are organizing an activity in the church in the next few months, the Advisory Board would like you to be mindful of other groups who may be also trying to set up an activity closer to the same time period. Set up and clean up becomes more complicated without a sexton.
